Brunswick & Golden Isles of GA

After spending the day with clients, my husband and I decided to take a walk on the beach on Jekyll Island, Georgia.

This is the view from the parking lot of our beaches on Labor Day weekend........(even on holidays, Jekyll Island, Georgia is typically not crowded.)

Even the pets on the beach were having fun.......(Pets are allowed on the beach after 5:00 each day)...My golden retrievers love it when we take them.....

We found a lucky dollar....

My husband and I are still questioning what kind of sea weed this is.....any suggestions?

Living where you can manage a full day of work and still be able to spend an evening doing all of this and then having dinner together really helps me balance work and family.  Each of us should look around and see what we can do close to home with our families and plan mini vacations each week.....
