Kicking off the Labor Day Weekend in Brunswick, Georgia is First Friday in historic downtown Brunswick. Starting at 5 p.m. on Friday, September 3 on Newcastle and Gloucester Streets, enjoy live music, Art Downtown with an opening reception for artist Terrie Daniel as well as a fundraiser for Citizens for Human Animal Treatment. Saturday morning, September 4 get up and shop in the open air markets at The Brunswick Bazaar and Farmer's Market from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in historic downtown Brunswick. On Saturday and Sunday, September 4 and 5, visit Postell Park on Saint Simons Island, Georgia (in the Pier Village) for the Annual Labor Day Weekend Arts and Crafts Show. Vendors are open from 10 a.m. to 5 pm. both days offering everything from jewelry, arts, crafts, sculptures and paintings.
End the weekend with "A Little Light Music" at 7 p.m. at the Saint Simons Island Lighthouse with the last of the outdoor summer concerts hosted by The Coastal Georgia Historical Society.
